Sometimes you hope you’re wrong.

The simmering volcano has produced major eruptions—each a thousand times more powerful than Mount St. Helens’s 1980 eruption—three times in the past 2.1 million years. Yellowstone’s caldera, which covers a 25- by 37-mile (40- by 60-kilometer) swath of Wyoming, is an ancient crater formed after the last big blast, some 640,000 years ago.

Carberp Banking Malware Self-Upgrading

The computer from Superman III demonstrated self-upgrading capabilities. As Computerworld reports …

Carberp, which targets computers running Microsoft’s Windows operating system, was discovered last October by several security companies and noted for its ability to steal a range of data as well as disguise itself as legitimate Windows files and remove antivirus software. It has been billed as a rival to Zeus, another well-known piece of malware.

Of course, in the movie, it didn’t really work out for the computer’s operator.
