Found this bizarre video on archive.org illustrating techniques for rural civil defense preparedness. Like, when you put your livestock in the barn basement to protect them from a nuclear blast, line the outside of the barn with bails of hay to reduce radiation absorption.
And it’s all done with marionettes.
