I just bought The Venture Bros. Season One on DVD from Amazon and it is awesome. I’d bought it through the iTunes store, but this is way better. I’m starting to swing around on some physical media, and this is one of those things I want to hold in my hands.
One of the best things about this is getting to watch these episodes in VLC, instead of the crappy iTunes / QuickTime player.
In “Tag Sale — You’re It!” there’s this one really great scene where the frame pans right-to-left and we get to see everyone waiting in line at the metal detector – just like an Adult Swim TSA!
Anyway, it’s a great shot. I pieced together some screenshots of it and the result is really nice. Enjoy!
