The 404 on Github is adorable. It consists of an image of an “octocat” – a cross between an eight-armed mollusk and an adorable smiling feline. The wide-eyed, anime-style illustration is a pleasant way of telling the user that the page, much like the animal, doesn’t exist.
This is one of two women in Sweden making accusations. She has written and published at least two anti-Castro opinion pieces on this bizarre Swedish Cuba Libre website www.miscelaneasdecuba.net – a brief look at which makes me think the whole website – as well as the organization supporting it – may, in fact, be the result of the global US-funded fight against Castro.
Perhaps these are some western intelligence contractors who are up to their old tricks using anti-terror money?

Gran Turismo 5 is out. Be forewarned, there is a 133 MB patch to download right off the bat. It takes another two hours of watching “20 mins left” for the PS3 to actually install the patch. I’m going to assume that that is because the downloaded patch is actually a very large set of files that have been compressed to a very high degree to keep the patch size within reasonable tolerances; that figure being the 133 MB archive.
Anyway, this is the damage modelling we’ve been promised.
