BioLite CampStove | Burn Wood, Cook Meals, Charge Gear

BioLite CampStove | Burn Wood, Cook Meals, Charge Gear

I hate to admit it, but sometimes my girlfriend is right.

When I first heard her say she was buying a camp stove I thought, “Cool.” When she told me it the fire would power a USB charger I started to laugh.

I’ve tried it. I’m not laughing.

This thing is amazing. It has a built in blower that is powered by the fire itself! You use a combustible fire starter brick to get it going. The energy in the starter is enough to generate a quick burst of power sufficient to start the blower.

From there, you just have to keep adding twigs.

Very nice.
