The donuts I bought this morning came in a paper bag. The printing on the bag caught my eye and I decided to scan it and polish it in Photoshop. Here’s what I got: If I posted on a more regular basis, I’d say this would make a fine logo.

It seems that this issue stopped getting any attention once the temporary budget was passed. Inland Empire Construction Permits Down 96% from 2005
The Wall Street Journal is running a story saying that Inland Empire construction permits “have plunged 96% from 45,299 in 2005 to a projected 2,000 this year.” Hurry up and read it before Rupert puts up a pay wall.
